Black chicken four-ingredient soup – nourishes the blood! approach
Soak the lotus seeds in warm water for about 2 hours in advance, and remove the bitter core from the soaked lotus seeds.
Wash the four herbs in water and soak them in water for 20 minutes with the sea rice and dried scallops respectively.
Peel the shell of cinnamon, peel the ginger and cut into thin slices, slice the green onion, wash the red dates and reserve.
Chop the chicken into pieces, add ginger, green onions and wine into a pan of cold water to remove the fishy smell and impurities.
Remove the chicken and wash off the froth with warm water.
Add the dark chicken, ginger, dates, cinnamon, soaked sea rice, dried scallops, lotus seeds and four herbs to the stew pot.
Add water to cover the ingredients.
Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 1 hour. During this time, pay attention to the inside of the pot and skim off any foam or impurities.
Add salt to taste, add the washed wolfberries, cover and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
In addition to black chicken and four herbs that tonify blood, you can also add red dates, cinnamon, lotus seeds and wolfberry, all of which are good for women.
