Breakfast Companion – How to Make Five-Spice Quail Eggs
Wash the bought quail eggs in warm water.
Prepare seasonings: 1 star anise, 1 small piece of cinnamon, 1 clove, 15 peppercorns, 2 leaves of incense, 10 pieces of cumin.
Wash the quail eggs in a cold pot, water below the quail eggs, add the above spices and sea salt, open medium-low heat.
When the water starts to boil, cook for 5 minutes, turn off the heat, cover and leave for about 10 minutes.
Drain the quail eggs and crack them in turn.
