How to make hawthorn ball
Wash the hawthorn, remove the stems and reserve
Pour the sugar into a frying pan, the amount of water is almost half of the sugar, heat over low heat, stirring constantly, the sugar will melt, big bubbles will appear in the first few minutes, keep stirring.
Five or six minutes, the syrup bubbles in the pot sugar completely melted into a thicker state, the added water is basically evaporated, turn off the heat immediately. Pour in the hawthorn, gently and continuously toss until completely coated with syrup. Turned white. This time I just did it and forgot to take pictures, just be more careful when boiling the syrup.
The syrup turned completely white after 10 minutes or so, it was very tasty.
This is the first time I made it, I put too much water in it, when the syrup couldn’t be simmered, I made hawthorn sauce, and finally mixed it with my own baked cake.
