How to make homemade chili sauce
First, wash the fresh red peppers ️ Wash the whole thing and don’t remove the green stalk! And when you clean it, pick out all the broken ones!
Wash the chili peppers and lay them out flat to dry.
While the peppers are drying, prepare the ginger and garlic, peeling the ginger and drying the water.
Crush the ginger and garlic in a blender and set aside.
Then remove the stems from the dried chillies and chop them up with a knife. (Dang people can also be lazy and just use a meat grinder to grind them up, but they won’t taste as good! The basin for the chillies must be clean and free of water and oil.
Pour in the ginger and garlic, add the salt, wine and sugar, toss well, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for an hour or so. (Be sure to toss well)
While it’s sitting, boil the glass jars to sterilize and dry them! (I save time and usually wash and dry them in the oven.)
Finally, use a clean spoon to fill the jar, not too full, leaving room to pour cooked canola oil to seal the jar, and of course you can use sesame oil to eat on your own at no cost ha!
Finally, seal the mouth and let it sit at room temperature for two days before putting it in the fridge, usually about a week before you can eat it!
