How to Make Homemade Rose Colla Cordial Paste
The gum is crushed as much as possible and then soaked in it. I soaked it for two days before I started boiling it.
I’ve prepared all the ingredients sesame seeds and walnuts, all fried by myself, and the dates are made from Ruoqiang dates, pitted and cut by myself, crushed with rock sugar.
Put some roses on the plate with the gelatine.
Boil the Colla Corii Asini over medium heat, then add the rocking sugar. Turn down the heat and stir occasionally with a spatula to prevent it from sticking.
Keep an eye on the condition of the colla-aid while it’s boiling so that it’s just a little short of the right temperature
It took me about 35 minutes to boil the Colla Corii Asini to this state. Then turn off the heat and add the ingredients.
Add the dates, walnuts and wolfberries, and stir quickly.
Add the sesame seeds in two stages, stirring quickly, and by this time it’s hard to mix.
Stir well, then use a rolling pin to flatten it.
And a layer of roses on top
Let it cool and then cut the strips before slicing. l cooled them for three hours and they’re already set.
I don’t use a machine and I cut them by feel, so I don’t care if I eat them.
It’s just right.
You have to bag it as soon as you cut it, or it will stick together again.
