How to Make Japanese Cotton Cake
Delicious fluffy Japanese cotton cake.
Heat vegetable oil over low heat until small bubbles appear
Sift the flour.
Add the milk.
Add 5 egg yolks and mix well
Whip the egg whites with a whisk
Add salt if there are large bubbles
Add the powdered sugar in three steps.
Whipped until wet with a small curved hook
Add one third of the egg whites to the batter, then pour it all back into the egg whites and mix.
Pour the blended batter into the square molds
Add some water to the pan
Bake at 170 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
A fluffy, soft cotton cake is ready.
