Orange Lotus Root Chicken – Sweet and Sour! approach
Peel the oranges and remove the flesh, add a little water to make juice for later.
Remove the bones from chicken thighs and cut them into pieces
Marinate with wine, starch, salt and ginger for later use.
Dice the bell pepper.
Peel and cut the lotus root into dice.
Heat the oil in a pan, stir-fry the diced lotus root, squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice, pour in the orange juice and cook until thickened.
Add the marinated chicken pieces into the pan and stir-fry to reduce the sauce.
Finally, stir-fry the bell peppers until mature, add salt to taste and serve.
