The yam product was really too hard to deal with, kept sliding off my hands while peeling, but eventually managed to subdue it, though! Took a little longer to sell, and it didn’t sell very well. Hahaha.
The taste is good when it’s hot, but it’s too sour when it’s cold. —
Pan-fried yams with lemon and garlic
Squeeze the juice from the lemon (I used half a lemon)
Yams cut into thick slices
Add oil to the pan, fry the garlic and then add the yam slices, fry until a little brown on one side, turn over and continue frying
Add soy sauce and lemon juice and fry for about 1 minute.
