How to Make Portuguese Egg Tart (Nettles)
First mix the granulated sugar with the milk (stir within a minute)
Whisk together one whole egg and one yolk, not over whisking! Then pour in the granulated sugar and milk you just stirred in and stir gently! Remember to be gentle! Stir well and continue to pour in the light cream and mix gently!
Be sure to filter 3 times! This is a very important step that will affect the taste a lot!
Take out 10 tart crusts (no need to defrost) and pour in the tart mixture nine full! (Remember to preheat the top and bottom of the oven ahead of time at 200 degrees for 5-10)
Bake at 200 degrees on the top of the oven and 210 degrees on the bottom for 25 minutes! It’s really delicious!
