How to make roasted chestnuts
Wash the chestnuts, dry them, cut an opening (be careful with this step, I used a wet kitchen towel to make a nest and put the chestnuts inside, the chestnuts will be fixed, then one hand operation is enough, just hold the knife and chop).
Put the chopped chestnuts in a plastic bag, pour in some oil, and then use your hands to rub the oil through the plastic bag onto the chestnuts.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking tray with foil and spread the chestnuts with the oil.
Place the chestnuts in the oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes. While the chestnuts are roasting, stir together the sugar and water until the sugar melts into the dessert.
Take the chestnuts out of the oven after 25 minutes and brush the openings with the sugar mixture, place in the oven at 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
To serve, roast in the oven at 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
