sticky rice flour
Soy sauce or soy sauce
Tray or box with sides
A simple version of Cha-ling hot skin
Pick the powder first (water, green onions, paprika, salt, a little soy sauce), not too thick.
We happen to have leftover tin foil boxes at home, and we rubbed a little bit of oil on the box with green cabbage leaves (so the hot skin won’t stick to the box).
Pour in the seasoned rice noodles (mom didn’t put soy sauce in it at first, so it’s white)
Bring the water to a boil, then add the seasoned rice noodles, cover the pot, and wait for the pot to be hot again (usually a couple of minutes), steaming too long hot skin will be old!
Round out the oven (add a little cornstarch if you like it smooth), or add meat or eggs.
