How to make tianmai hen soup with original taste
Wash and cut the old hen into pieces. Soak for half an hour to remove blood. Soak the dried sesame seeds for two hours in advance, pat the ginger with a knife and tie the shallots into knots.
Put the old hen, ginger and tianma together in an electric casserole. Add a generous amount of water. (The water should at least cover the ingredients), cover the pot and press the soup button. (Time set for two hours.)
Open the lid five to ten minutes ahead of time. Add some goji berries, onion knots, and a good amount of table salt.
